Music Video- “Savior Dream” By Pocket Vinyl (Official Music Video).

“This video is in honor and celebration of Record Store Day. April 16, 2011 Support your local record store! www.recordstoreday.com

This is our 4th video from the album “Protagonist” and probably our strangest one yet. Our crazy inner children sort of come out in this one, I think. It took about 8 hours total to film. Special thanks to Elizabeth’s dad Bill for being the camera guy. I (Eric) usually am but as you see, it was a little difficult to do that this time around. Enjoy!”

Amazing Fire Animation

“All I can say is ..this took over 2 weeks to do. A lot of fire, A lot of smoke, a lot of heat, and a whole lot of frustration.

Some may not consider this an illusion.

Heres the definition of illusion:

something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality.

The idea for this started when I was editing the behind the scenes footage for the Fire Illusion video. I sped up the footage of me blowing out the candles and it looked really cool to see the candles going from being lit to unlit so quickly ..and it hit me that the candles could be used as pixels. “

Thankyou for stopping by planet earth.

Some people want to know how many drawings I made. Well it’s 24fps, I can’t recall exact amount but it was about 3,500. It was a university project.

When I was animating I didn’t know what I was going to animate until the day. And that was the whole point for me, for it to be whatever pops into my head at that moment without thinking about it. It made the project very enjoyable and not repetitive like animation can be known for.”
